Selçuk Özceada, the owner and founder of Bosfarma, worked as a clinical biochemist in England for 10 years and as a medical researcher in ımmunology for 10 years in health institutions in England and Norway; He worked as a manager in the pharmaceutical industry in England and Turkey for 7 years. After working as Undersecretary in the TRNC Ministry of Health for 2 years, he took charge as the founding partner of Bosfor Bioscience Partners Consulting, which provided M&A and business development services in Turkey between 2005-2020. In TRNC Bosfarma was founded in 2012.

In the initial year, Bosfarma was a company that mainly participated in the tenders for human pharmaceuticals. From the second year of its establishment, Bosfarma started to operate as a niche pharmaceuticals wholesaler with little marketing activity, selling gynecology drugs and medical supplies. In the following 3 years, Bosfarma expanded its niche activities, working with doctors and hospitals in the field of pediatrics (vaccine) and dermatology.

Bosfarma is one of only a few pharmaceutical wholesalers specializing in cold chain medicine in the TRNC, which is subject to a continuous audit and approval process by multinational companies such as Novo Nordisk, Sanofi-Pasteur, Merck Serono. In the last 4 years, it has become one of the leading players in the sector as a more general pharmaceuticals wholesaler and distributor by entering the market with pharmaceuticals purchased from manufacturers such as Abdi İbrahim, Accord, ITC, Humanis, Türk İlaç, Partogen and Keymen.
